Pay your Fitrana 2025 – Zakat Al Fitr
(£5 per person)
One of the key obligations of Muslims during the Holy month of Ramadan is to
donate Fitrana, also known as Zakat Al Fitr, on or before the morning of Eid-ul-
Fitr. Fitrana is a small amount each Muslim individual must pay before Eid
Salah to enable those in need to celebrate the completion of the auspicious
month and join in the festivities of Eid-ul-Fitr.
This is an obligation on the head of the family / bread-winner of the family to pay
for him and all his dependants.
This year per person fitrana is £5 per person
You can donate your fitrana to Al Ghadeer Educational Trust UK online and
help & support the people in need.

It is a mandatory charity regardless of age or status. Adults can pay their Zakat
Al Fitr payment for themselves and any children or dependents under their care
who cannot fulfil the obligation themselves. The only individuals exempt from
paying Fitrana are those without over 2kg of staple food over their needs.
Fitrana can be paid during the Holy month of Ramadan as long as payment is
made before the congregational prayers on the morning of Eid-ul-Fitr.
